Is the Queen Serum cruelty free?

Yes, the Queen Serum is cruelty free. All Omorovicza products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme.

What is the scent?

The Queen Serum contains notes of rose, jasmine, vanilla, lemon and pear.

When should I apply the Queen Serum?

We recommend applying the Queen Serum morning and evening for best results. Alternatively, apply in the morning and use Midnight Renewal in the evening.

Is the Queen Serum suitable for use during pregnancy and breast feeding?

We would recommend to consult with a healthcare professional or dermatologist for personalised advice. Due to the presence of salicylic acid in the formula (at a low level), the product may not be suitable for pregnancy and breast feeding.

Has the Queen Serum been clinically tested?

Yes, a 4-week clinical study was performed using the Queen Serum on 30 female subjects aged 42 to 60. Subjects had a range of skin types and tones, including sensitive skin. Parameters measured include skin firmness, elasticity, radiance, wrinkle depth and smoothness.

Does the Queen Serum contain a retinol alternative?

Yes, the microalgae present in the formula is an alternative to retinol. It mimics the mechanism of action and performance of retinol without the potential side effects such as irritation or sensitisation, making it suitable for daytime use.

Why is Queen Oil different than other facial oils on the market?

Queen Oil is a highly efficacious treatment oil that rebuilds skin's healthy barrier using a unique blend of precious oils in a high concentration, with no carrier oil in the formula.

How should I add Queen Oil into my routine?

Those with dry and dehydrated skin should add Queen Oil to their daily routines at night after their moisturiser. For combination skin types, Queen Oil can be used in cold weather, after a flight or when skin needs treatment by using it at night instead of your usual moisturiser.

Can I use it if I'm allergic to nuts?

Queen Oil may contain traces of nuts as a very small portion of the fragrance used is nut-derived, but the levels are very low so likely to be below any allergy threshold.

Is the Queen Serum suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, it has been dermatologically tested on a panel with sensitive skin types.
